El proyecto se ha desarrollado en 2 barrios urbanos empobrecidos de la periferia de la ciudad de Matagalpa (Lucidia Mantilla y Sor María Romero) y 2 comunidades rurales (Piedra de Agua y Llano Grande). Supone una continuidad de estrategia, inicialmente por Gobierno de Navarra y hasta la actualidad con fondos de Fundación Felipe Rinaldi y Fundación Caja Navarra.
Objetivo del proyecto: Mejorada la calidad de vida de los barrios urbanos Sor María Romero, Lucidia Mantilla y de las comunidades rurales Piedra de Agua y Llano Grande a través del empoderamiento personal, colectivo y económico de mujeres, la salud y educación ambiental de las comunidades y la integración de los/as jóvenes de los barrios en acciones formativas y de incidencia social gracias a alianzas estratégicas innovadoras.
